The Seven Rays are the rays of the pure white light from the Heart of God as God's Light is stepped down and radiated outward through the prism of the Christ consciousness . The Seven Rays correspond to the seven chakras, which are the vessels for those rays to outpicture Gods highest attributes in the physical plane. Although we cannot see them with the physical eyes, these rays have a powerful effect upon the world around us.
From science you can look at Pythagoran law and see the application of the Rays through music, sound, and geomancy. As everything in the physical plane vibrates with a certain energy frequency, so too do numbers. The power of numbers is found in every aspect of life, from that which we see to the hidden dimensions of the universe. The vibrational influence of the pattern of seven on the planet can be seen in many aspects of life, from the seven continents to the seven days of the week to the seven races of man. In the Bible the number seven is used frequently, from the seven heads, seven days, seven lamps, seven sons, seven nations, seven loaves, seven devils, seven years, seven cows, and so on. Seven carries the vibration of perfection, and thus the Seven Rays can be said to help man perfect himself in God.
Just as the spiritual forces of God cannot be seen, yet maintain this physical body, so too is the physical realm maintained by Spiritual Beings imparting the pure White Light as Seven Rays of consciousness to help us internalize and Be God Beings. Just like a rainbow refracts the pure "white" sunlight into seven rays, these Spiritual Beings reflect the Seven Rays into the world of form. Just as a raindrop can magnify one part of the spectrum of colors by shining out that color at a certain angle and in one direction so you only see it from where you stand, so too does a Spiritual Being direct one color band or ray of light towards the earth.
Just as a rainbow's placement can be predicted by a certain degree of angle from the originating sunlight, so too can the Seven Rays be known when and where they will appear in the physical. Each day of the week a certain angle of the originating pure White Light is refracted to the earth. Through understanding the vibration of each ray, the energies can be felt to be more predominant on specific days of the week. For instance on Sunday, the day most people attend church, the ray of illumination is refracted and reflected to earth. Thus by those who are sensitive to these refracted rays of the pure White Light, we know the Seven Ray colors and their corresponding chakras and days of the week.
The Seven Rays have been defined and understood for thousands of years by Buddhists, Hindus, Theosophists and New Age esoteric teachings. The list below are those put out through the Ascended Masters' Teachings and come closest to vibrating of the true colors and the Spiritual Cosmic Beings who radiate each ray. We use the Seven Ray qualities on this website as the major headings to help empower each of us to a higher understanding of the perfection of God through and around us.
The Bible only speaks of two angels and archangels. The Book of Enoch tells of seven powerful angels (20:1-8) and their possible connection with each ray.
